The World Health Organization is raising concern about a widely used weed killer in our agriculture. “Glyphosate” is known on the market as the “best-selling weedkiller Roundup.”
Its use has been steadily increased over the past 20 years on our farms, especially in corn and soybean crops.
And now it’s linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and lung cancer in lab animals.
The testing that has been done so far is limited. What the World Health Organization is calling for is more testing – which needs some more good old public outcry! How much further are we willing to push our crops at the expense of our health?
